Your Voice
The College is committed to listening to the ‘Learner Voice’. We believe by hearing what you say and where practical and possible- acting upon it - we can improve the learning experience for all members of the college community.
The Student Forum allows the students to decide on issues within the college which they would like to see changed. The Forum meets every three weeks. The Forum consists of Faculty representatives chosen by the Faculty Leaders who represent the views of the class representatives who are elected by every class in college.
Students also have a voice through representatives from Learning Resources, ALS, Step Up program and ESOL.
A member of the Senior Management team attends every meeting
The two elected leaders of the Forum ( The executive) report directly to the College governors.
Also:
We take regular student surveys.
Each Faculty conducts regular student focus groups through the regular ‘health checks’
The Principal visits every tutor group to listen to views.
The student ‘Moodle ‘site ( College Forum).
